Narrative:

The Dover Police Department and Delaware Probation and Parole arrested a 23-year-old Dover man for drug related offenses following a traffic stop on Tuesday afternoon.  Fletcher was found to be in possession of 67 bags of heroin and .5 grams of crack cocaine.  Fletcher was arrested without incident and committed to JTVCC in default of bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver
-Possession of Heroin
-Possession of Crack Cocaine
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Arrest Made in February 7th Shooting on S. New Street 2-28-17

UPDATE:
An arrest has been made in the shooting of a 42-year-old man on February 7th, 2017. Gregory Scott was developed as a suspect in the case based on efforts made by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Dover Police Department.  Scott was observed walking in the area of S. New Street on February 24th and arrested without incident.  He was committed to JTVCC in default of $172,000 cash bond on the following charges:
-Attempted Murder 1st Degree
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Reckless Endangering (2x)

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 42-year-old man that occurred on Tuesday evening.  Officers responded to the Unit Block of S. New Street for a report of shots fired.  While officers were on scene, information was received that the victim had driven himself to Kent General Hospital.  The victim was treated for multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and was hospitalized as a result of those injuries.
