Wanted Suspect Arrested on New Drug Charges 1-10-2019

Incident/Complaint#:  50-19-768 Date/Time:   Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at 10:06PM Location:   500 Block of S. Bay Road, Dover, DE Officer Releasing Information:   M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer Narrative:  Dover – The Dover Police Department arrested a 27-year-old wanted person on a traffic stop on Tuesday evening.  At approximately 10:06PM, officers observed Darren Holden as a passenger in a vehicle.  Officers familiar with Holden determined he was wanted at the time.  Upon contact, Holden provided a false name to officers.  Once Holden was taken into custody he resisted officers attempts to place him in a police vehicle.  Holden was also found in possession of .2 grams of marijuana, 504 bags (3.53 grams of heroin, and packaging materials.  The driver, Juliana Hansley-Thomas (28) was found in possession of  .6 grams of marijuana.   Holden was committed to SCI in default of $67,000 cash bind on the following charges: -Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin -Possession of Heroin -Possession of Marijuana -Drug Paraphernalia -Resisting Arrest -Criminal Impersonation -Capias Hansley-Thomas was released without bond on a single Possession of Marijuana Charge and a traffic offense.
