Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the 7-11 at 449. South New Street on Sunday morning.  At approximately 12:29AM, a black male suspect entered the business and placed a knife against an employees side and demanded money while threatening to harm the employee. The suspect fled northbound on S. Governors Avenue in a Chrysler 300 with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Images below show the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle.

Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges for Two Dover Women 1-26-2018

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested two women on drug charges on Thursday night as the result of a traffic stop for failing to stop at a stop sign.  Ciara Footman (22) and Jasmine Powell (24) were charged arrested after officers smelled marijuana coming from their vehicle and conducted a vehicle search.  During the search, officers recovered five baggies of heroin, drug paraphernalia, a glass mason jar with 68 grams of marijuana, and $864.00 in drug proceeds.

Ciara Footman was released on unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of Heroin
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Stop Sign Violation

Jasmine Powell was released on unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana

Curfew Check Leads to Drug Arrest 1-26-2018

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department assisted Delaware Probation and Parole with a curfew check, which led to a drug arrest on Thursday evening.  Officers conducted the curfew check on Shawn Hicks (37) who resides on Par Haven Drive.  During an administrative search, probation officers discovered 21.7 grams of crack cocaine, .3 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and $1,942.00 in drug proceeds.  Hicks was committed to JTVCC in default of bond and on a Violation of Probation.

Dover Man Charged with Drug Offenses Following Search Warrant 1-24-2018

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested a 29-year-old man on drug charges after executing a search warrant on Tuesday.  Antwaun Campbell was arrested after officers executed a search warrant on his room at the Dover Garden Inn, located at 315 Martin Street, following a drug investigation.  As a result of the search, officers seized 4 grams of crack cocaine, 6 bags of heroin, 2.1 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $503.00 in drug proceeds.  

Campbell was committed to JTVCC in default of $10,500 bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine
-Possession of Heroin
-Possession of Marijuana

Suspect Sought in Domestic Assault and Burglary 1-22-18

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is seeking Antonio Powell (28) after a domestic related burglary and assault that occurred on Saturday night.  At approximately 10:50PM, Powell knocked on his ex-girlfriends door, demanding to be let in.  The victim, barricaded both the front and back doors to her home and his in a bedroom.  Powell then broke a rear window to the residence and entered.  The victim then fled out of her bedroom window to seek help.  A short time later, the victim attempted to go to her neighbor’s home when Powell ran out of her residence and struck the victim in her mouth and chest, causing injuries.  Powell then fled before police arrived on scene.

Armed Robbery in Parking Lot of Dover Downs 1-22-2018

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of a 34-year-old man that occurred on Friday night.  At approximately 10:35PM, the male victim was unlocking his bicycle from the rear of his vehicle in the parking lot of Dover Downs when he was approached by three male suspects.  One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money.  The victim told the suspects he did not have cash on his person, but gave his cell phone.  The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.

Gold Alert Cancelled for Missing Dover Man 1-22-2018

UPDATE:  The Dover Police Department has cancelled the Gold Alert for Jimmy Klein.  Klein returned to his residence at approximately 3:00AM.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a missing 39-year-old man. Jimmy Klein was last seen leaving his residence in the 800 Block of Paul Street at approximately 9:00PM. Klein has a condition that if improperly treated, may pose a risk to his health and safety.  Klein was described as  5’7″ tall, approx. 160 lbs., green eyes, long brown hair, long brown beard, and last seen wearing a gray flannel jacket, blue jeans, and work boots
