Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a missing 33-year-old .  Nicole Cinalli was last seen in the 700 Block of West Division Street on Monday, November 19th, 2018 at approximately 6:00PM   Cinalli was last seen wearing a  black Columbia fleece jacket, black scarf, and black sneakers.  She also has a left leg tattoo that reads “Michael.”  Cinalli does suffer from medical conditions that can present a danger to her health if not properly monitored and made statements prior to her departure that are cause for concern..   If you have any information on Cinalli’s whereabouts, please contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a missing 16-year-old girl. Danyae Durham was last seen in the area of West North Street at 6:15PM on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018.  She was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black book bag.  Durham is also 5’5″, approx. 130 lbs, with red hair. Home Invasion in Capital Green 11-19-2018

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred in the Capital Green neighborhood on Sunday morning.  Between 1:00AM-1:20AM, six unknown black male suspects entered the front door of a residence in the 400 Block of East Water Street with handguns, demanding items.  The suspects ransacked the residence while inside.  Two of the suspects also struck a 57-year-old male victim in the back of the head with a handgun, causing a laceration.  The suspects then removed cash and a gold chain from the victim before fleeing.  

The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital and received treatment for his injuries.

Police Investigating Shooting Incident on Willis Road . 11-17-2018

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department responded to the 100 Block of Willis Road at approximately 8:50PM on Friday, November 16th for a report of shots fired.  Upon arrival, officers discovered a white Chevrolet Caprice abandoned on the sidewalk in the area.  The vehicle had bullet hole in the passenger side door and the front passenger window had been shot out.  The occupant apparently fled on foot, leaving the vehicle behind.  Officers checked the surrounding areas as well as local hospitals and medical centers for any potential victims but were unsuccessful.

Dover Police Upgrade Missing Persons Case to Homicide Investigation 11-15-2018

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is seeking information in a missing persons investigation.  Ahyanna Baker-Griffin (20), was reported missing by family members on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at approximately 3:30PM by family members.  Ahyanna Baker-Griffin was last seen leaving her S. Queen Street residence with her boyfriend, Dishiem Johnson (21) in a dark-colored Nissan Sentra with tinted windows on the morning of Thursday, November 8th, 2018.  Ahyanna Baker-Griffin has since missed a family function and has not appeared at her place of employment since.  No family has heard from Ahyanna Baker-Griffin since Thursday morning.  

UPDATE:
On Thursday, November 15th, detectives from the Dover Police Department located the vehicle belonging to Dishiem Johnson in the parking lot of 155 S. West Street in Camden, Delaware.  Based on the vehicle’s location and further investigation into that location, detectives learned that Johnson was possibly residing in an  apartment in that area.

Detectives made entry into the apartment and discovered both Ahyanna Baker-Griffin and Dishiem Johnson deceased inside the apartment as the result of apparent gunshot wounds.  Based on preliminary evidence, the case appears to be the result of a murder-suicide where Dishiem Johnson may have taken his own life following the murder of Ahyanna Baker-Griffin.  The final determination on manner of death will be made by the Delaware Division of Forensic Science Office of the Medical Examiner.

Residential Burglary at Country Village Apartments 11-14-2018

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary in Country Village Apartments that occurred sometime between November 8th and November 15th.  During this time period, an unknown suspect(s) forced open a sliding glass door to the apartment.  Once inside, they took a Playstation 4 system, A 55″ Spectre Television, and a 40: Spectre television.

Smyrna Man Arrested with Methamphetamine and Manufacturing Materials at Hospital 11-13-2018

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department arrested a Smyrna man on drug charges after it was discovered that he was in possession of materials related to the manufacturing of crystal methamphetamine.  Christopher Honaker (41), was in the emergency room of Kent General Hospital with an acquaintance at approximately 5:51PM on Monday, November 12th.  During that time, hospital staff discovered that a backpack belonging to Honaker contained materials and contents consistent with manufacturing methamphetamine.  Hospital staff notified the Dover Police Department who confirmed what the contents were.  Honaker was arrested without incident.  A further search of the backpack led to the discovery of approximately 108.4 gram of suspected methamphetamine.  

Honaker was committed to SCI in default of $40,500 secured bond on the following charges:
-Operation of a Clandestine Lab
-Possession of Methamphetamine (Tier 5 Qty)
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
