Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is seeking information in a missing persons investigation.  Ahyanna Baker-Griffin (20), was reported missing by family members on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at approximately 3:30PM by family members.  Ahyanna Baker-Griffin was last seen leaving her S. Queen Street residence with her boyfriend, Dishiem Johnson (21) in a dark-colored Nissan Altima with tinted windows on the morning of Thursday, November 8th, 2018.  Ahyanna Baker-Griffin has since missed a family function and has not appeared at her place of employment since.  No family has heard from Ahyanna Baker-Griffin since Thursday morning as well.

Gold Alert CANCELLED for Missing Dover Woman 11-12-2018

UPDATE:  Shirley Downs was located by a Dover police officer and is safe.  Please disregard the Gold Alert that was issued earlier.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a missing 64-year-old woman. Shirley Downs was last seen in the area of S. Little Creek Road leaving her residence at approximately 8:00AM on November 12, 2018.  She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red and green tights, and carrying a blue bag.  Downs also uses a cane to walk.  Shirley Downs does suffer from medical conditions that can present a danger to her healthy if not properly monitored.   If you have any information on Downs’ whereabouts, please contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.

Shooting at Barrister Place Leaves Woman Wounded 11-12-2018

Location:   400 Block of Barrister Place, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday night in the 400 Block of Barrister Place that left a 20-year-old woman with a gunshot wound.  At approximately 8:03PM, an unknown suspect fired multiple shots towards a home, striking a vehicle, front of the residence, and struck the female victim who was lying in bed on the 2nd floor of the home.  The victim was being treated at Kent General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries as a result of the gunshot wound.

Dover Police Arrest Man on Gun Charges, Seeking 2nd Suspect 11-9-2018

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department arrested a man on gun charges and is seeking another after an incident on Thursday evening.  At approximately 9:27PM, officers were near the 200 Block of West Reed Street when they observed Abdul Tillery (32) engage in an altercation with an unknown subject.  The officers then observed Tillery walk towards a trash can and pick up an object and conceal it in his front pocket of a hooded sweatshirt.  Based on the appearance, officers believed it was a firearm and attempted to contact Tillery.  Tillery fled on foot from officers and threw a loaded 9mm handgun over a fence in the 100 Block of S. Governors Avenue which was later recovered.  Tillery was captured a short time later.

During the foot pursuit, Adriene Stevenson (31) grabbed and shoved an officer and attempted to trip him to prevent the arrest of Tillery.  When officers attempted to locate Stevenson, he had fled the area.  Stevenson is currently wanted for the following charges:
-Resisting Arrest with Force
-Offensive Touching on Law Enforcement
-Hindering Prosecution

Abdul Tillery was committed to SCI in default of $42,000 cash bond on the following offenses:
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Resisting Arrest with Force
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Violation of Probation

Burglary at Rite-Aid 11-2-2018

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at a Rite-Aid store on Thursday, November 1st, 2018. At approximately 3:50AM, officers responded for an alarm at the store and discovered that the front door had been damaged.  There was additional damage done to a door to the pharmacy, but the suspects did not gain access.
