Narrative:  

The Dover Police Department arrested two suspects on drug charges following a search warrant at a room at the First State Inn.  Prior to executing the search warrant, officers stopped Kevin Wilkerson (21) and Teaira Steward (22) in a vehicle after they left the hotel and took them into custody without incident.  Officers then executed the search warrant at the hotel and located .55 grams (78 bags) of heroin, a digital scale, 5.8 grams of marijuana, and $2,000 in drug proceeds.  

Kevin Wilkerson was committed to SCI in default of $12,600 cash bond on the following charges
-Possession with Intent to Deliver
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of Marijuana
-Violation of Probation

Teaira Steward was released on $12,600 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of Marijuana

Burglary at Wesley United Methodist Church 2-1-2019

Date/Time:   Friday, February 1st, 2019 between 4:10AM-5:01AM

 Location:   Wesley United Methodist Church/Pre-School, 209 S. State Street, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at the Wesley United Methodist Church/Pre-School, located at 209 S. State Street.  Between 4:10AM-5:01AM, a suspect entered the building through an unsecured door.  While inside, the suspect damaged a cabinet inside an office, and also removed an undisclosed amount of cash from a desk before fleeing the area.  The below images of the suspect were taken from surveillance footage.
