Incident #: 50-13-31405     Date/Time: Wednesday, November 13th at 125oPM

Location: Driftwood Spirits (153 S. Bradford Street, Dover)

Narrative:  On Wednesday, November 13th, at 1250PM, a black male suspect entered the Driftwood Spirits Liquor Store located at 153 S. Bradford Street.  While inside, the suspect removed a bottle of alcohol from display and approached the cashier.  The suspect then displayed a handgun in his waistband and demanded money, leaving with an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years of age, tan boots, gray hooded sweatshirt, and an orange flat brimmed hat, possibly with the Miami Hurricanes logo on it.  Please see the surveillance video below.  Anyone with any information should contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.  You may also submit an anonymous tip with Delaware Crime Stoppers by phone at: 1-800-847-3333 or online at:  http://delaware.crimestoppersweb.com/

Incident #: 50-13-30962     Date/Time: Friday, November 8th, 2013 at 1230AM

Location: 16 South Governors Avenue

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department will hold it’s annual Promotions and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, November 19th at 7:00PM in the Public Assembly Room at the Dover Police Department.  Members of the media are invited to attend the event.  The Dover Police Department is located at 400 South Queen Street, Dover, DE 19904.

Incident #: 50-13-30601     Date/Time: Tuesday, November 5th at 4:30AM

Location: L&D Suzuki (1070 South Dupont Highway, Dover, DE)

Narrative:  On Tuesday, November 5th, at approximately 4:30AM, officers responded to L&D Suzuki for a burglary alarm.  Upon arrival, officers observed that forced entry was made through a garage door into the showroom.  The unknown suspect made entry using various tools, damaging the door.  While inside, the suspect caused damage to a motorcycle, and then fled the area.  At this time, no suspect description is available.  Anyone with any information should contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.  You may also submit an anonymous tip with Delaware Crime Stoppers by phone at: 1-800-847-3333 or online at:  http://delaware.crimestoppersweb.com/ 

On Tuesday, October 29th, the Dover Police Department released a suspect photo in a forgery case that occurred at a PNC Bank location.  Upon further investigation that suspect has been cleared in ANY wrongdoing.  The Dover Police Department was provided the incorrect surveillance footage.  Once again the subject was cleared of any wrongdoing at this time.  Please disregard the previous notice.
