Location: Unit Block of Rodney Road, Dover, DE

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred just prior to 11:00PM.  An unknown suspect made entry into the residence by damaging a glass door to the residence.  Once inside the suspect removed several items including bottles of wine, electronics accessories, and jewelry items.  These items were recovered in a bag just out side of the residence.  It is believed that the suspect dropped the belongings and fled after a quick response by police.  The suspect was wearing all dark clothing with no further description available.

The Dover Police Department responded to 15 shoplifting calls between January 1st and Noon on January 8th.  Of those 15 shoplifting complaints, one was unfounded, seven are still under investigation, and arrests were made/warrants obtained in 7 cases. A total of 6 adults were arrested or are wanted for shoplifting during this period.  Two juveniles were also arrested/had warrants obtained during this period.
