Magnolia Man Shot While Staying at Dover Motel

Location:  Super Lodge Motel 246 N. DuPont Hwy Dover, DE

Narrative:

On Monday March 9, 2015 at 12:00 AM the City of Dover Police Department responded to the Super Lodge Motel located at 246 N. DuPont Hwy in Dover, DE for a shooting complaint. Responding officers contacted a black male victim (23) who had a gun shot wound to his upper right leg. The victim was transported to Bay Health Hospital in Dover for treatment. The victim was treated for a fractured right femur and is currently in stable condition. The victim was not able to provide any suspect information at this time. Shooting at a local Motel in Dover

Incident #: 50-15-5762  Date/Time:  Saturday March 7, 2015 at 2:30 PM

Location:  Capital Inn 1426 N. DuPont Hwy, Dover, DE

Narrative:

On Saturday March 7, 2015 at 2:30 in the afternoon the City of Dover Police Department received a 911 call regarding a shooting that occurred inside a Motel room located at the Capital Inn in Dover. The female victim (20) of Dover, told investigators she had approximately 10 unknown black males inside her room when a single shot was fired from an unknown caliber handgun. All unknown black male suspects fled the Motel room prior to police arrival. The victim sustained a single gunshot wound to her chest causing her lung to collapse. The victim was transported to Bay Health Hospital in Dover, DE and treated for her injuries. The victim is currently listed in stable condition and is expected to recover from her injuries.
