Narrative:
The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert in the case of a missing adult. Joseph Smith (23) left his residence on Monday, August 31st at 9:00PM and fled from his mother. Smith fled in a westbound direction from his residence in the 800 Block of Lincoln Street in Dover. Joseph Smith suffers from mental and developmental conditions that require constant care. Smith is described as a light skin black male, 6’2″, and 170 pounds. He has dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a “scruffy” beard. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue denim shorts, and was not wearing any shoes. If anyone has any information on Smith’s whereabouts, please contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.

Narrative:
Two men were arrested for the possession of 22.9 grams of ecstasy after a traffic stop early Monday morning. Just after 12:30AM, officers from the patrol division stopped Tyrell Waters for driving a vehicle with a suspended/revoked licence. As officers approahced, they detected a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle and had Waters and the passenger (Brandon Barnes) exit the vehicle. Officers located 1.1 grams of marijuana on Waters, and a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 22.9 grams of ecstasy. Both suspects were arrested without incident.
Waters was committed to JTVCC in default of $26,501 secured bond. Barnes was committed to JTVCC in default of $13,250 secured bond.

Narrative:
Six men were arrested Saturday night after a large fight with over 50 people occurred in the Manchester Square neighborhood. As officers from the Dover Police Department attempted to break up the fighting, a large crowd gathered, becoming disorderly and hostile towards police, as they made arrests. Officers from the Cheswold, Camden, Smyrna, and Delaware State Police Departments were called to assist in managing and dispersing the unruly crowd. As a result of the incident the following persons were charged:
