Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested Dover resident, Terrence Johnson, in reference to a residential burglary that occurred on Saturday afternoon.  At approximately 2:21PM, the resident of the home arrived to find Johnson on the 2nd floor of his residence.  Johnson had removed a window air conditioning unit in an attempt to steal same, as well as a laptop computer.  Johnson fled from the home on foot but was later arrested by Dover Police without incident.  Johnson was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary and Attempted Theft Under $1,500 and committed to JTVCC on $5,500 secured bond.

Location: Parking lot of AC Moore (277 North DuPont Highway)

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery of a 75-year-old woman that occurred at 1:44PM on Saturday.  The victim was walking into A.C. Moore from the parking lot when a suspect approached her from the area of White Oak Condos (adjacent to the shopping center) and forcibly took her purse from her hands and fled towards White  Oak Road.  The woman did not suffer any injuries.  The suspect was described as a black male, late teens/early 20’s, short build, gray hooded sweatshirt, and black pants.
