Armed Robbery on Maple Lane 1-5-2016

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Tuesday morning.  At approximately 12:12AM, an 18-year-old victim was approached by an unknown suspect while he was walking on Maple Lane, just south of Delaware Avenue.  The suspect pointed a small handgun at the victim and demanded money from the him.  The suspect obtained the victims wallet with an undisclosed amount of cash and his cell phone and then fled from the scene.  The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’8″, with a thin build, and wearing a dark jacket with denim chest pockets.

Residential Burglary on Sweet Gum Drive 1-5-2016

Date/Time:  Monday, January 4, 2016 between 7:30AM and 6:00PM

Location:  100 Block of Sweet Gum Drive

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Monday, January 4th.  Between 7:30AM and 6:00PM, an unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 100 Block of Sweet Gum Drive by prying open the front door.  Once inside, the suspect(s) removed a Microsoft Surface Tablet and Dell laptop from inside the home, along with three men’s watches and an undisclosed amount of cash.
