Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested a 22-year-old Dover man on drug and weapons charges during a traffic stop that followed a drug investigation.  Morris Savage, was stopped in the area of Route 8 and Saulsbury Road at 1:20PM.  During the stop, officers from the Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime, Street Crimes, and Probation and Parole Units discovered a stolen .40 caliber handgun, 125 bags (1.875 grams) of heroin, .8 grams of marijuana, and $809.00 in suspected drug proceeds.  Savage also had warrants from a prior incident that included charges of Driving without a license and resisting arrest.  As a result of this incident, Savage was also charged with the following offenses:
-Possession of Firearm  During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin (2x)
-Possession of Tier 1 with Aggravating Factor
-Carry a Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Receiving Stolen Firearm
-Possession of Marijuana
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Savage was committed to JTVCC in default of $73,502 secured bond.
