Arrest Made in Fulton Street Assault/Home Invasion 4-22-16

UPDATE:

The Dover Police Department has arrested 23-year-old Keontre Hynson for this incident.  Hynson was arrested while walking in the area of North New Street on Thursday evening and charged with Home Invasion and Assault 2nd Degree.  Hynson was committed to JTVCC in default of $35,000 cash bond.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating an assault that occurred early Sunday morning in the 300 Block of Fulton Street.  At approximately 2:04AM, a suspect entered the 20-year-old victim’s residence during a small gathering, uninvited.  When the victim told the suspect to leave the residence, the suspect struck the victim in the back of the head with a handgun and then fled the residence.  The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for treatment of a laceration to his head.  The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Armed Robbery at Corner of Village Drive and Walker Road 4-22-16

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating an early morning robbery of a 35-year-old man.  The victim was walking in the area of Walker Road and Village Drive, when he was approached by three suspects.  The suspects robbed the victim with a handgun, and took an undisclosed amount of cash, a cell phone, wallet, and backpack.  They then fled in an unknown direction.  The suspects were described as three black males, wearing masks, and dark-colored hooded sweatshirts.
