Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating the shooting of a residence on Sunday morning.  Officers responded to Stevenson Drive, in the Manchester Square development, for a report of a fight and shots fired at 1:22AM.  Officers did not locate any evidence of a shooting and the persons involved in the fight had dispersed prior to arrival by police.  At 1:57PM, a female victim notified police that her house had been shot.  Officers responded and observed that a bulled had passed through a wall in the home.  No injuries resulted from the incident.

Delaware Man Facing Charges After Climbing Fence During Dover NASCAR Race 6-5-2017

Narrative:

A 43-year-old man from Greenwood, Delaware is facing numerous charges after climbing the catch fence during the AAA 400 Drive for Autism NASCAR race at Dover International Speedway.  At approximately 4:58PM, John Infanti climbed the catch fence in turn four of the race track while the race was still going on.  Private security (CSC-Contemporary Services Corporation), contracted by Dover Speedway, were able to get Infanti to come down from the fence.  Infanti was then taken into custody by Dover police officers.  While being taken into custody, Infanti refused to comply with officers commands, kicking one in the knee during the process.  Infanti will be charged with the following offenses as a result of the incident:
-Trespass 2nd Degree
-Disorderly Conduct
-Resisting Arrest with Force (felony)
-Offensive Touching of Law Enforcement
