Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Saturday morning. The robbery occurred at Royal Farms located at 293 S. Saulsbury Road. A black male suspect entered the business and displayed a handgun, demanding cash. The suspect fled the store in an undisclosed amount of cash in a black Toyota Camry with a female driver. The male suspect was described as wearing a dark shirt, ball cap, plaid pajama pants, and slippers.

The Dover Police Department, in conjunction with the Dover Elks Lodge No. 1903, will be hosting a bike rodeo on Saturday, October 14th from Noon-3:00 p.m.
The rodeo will give children an opportunity to learn bike safety and to practice road safety skills with their parents, and enjoy other fun activities and contests all while engaging in conversation with officers. Community policing officers will be on hand to answer questions about crime trends and public safety issues in the city.
Free food, drinks, and giveaways will be available while supplies last. Children will also have a chance to win a bike and helmet, participate in a pie eating contest, meet “Chase” from Paw Patrol, and much more.
Children 14 and under are welcome to attend. Please bring your child’s bicycle and helmet!

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred between 6:0o p.m. and 9:20 p.m. on September 19th while the home was vacant. Upon returning, the owner noticed that a rear window screen had been cut. The unknown suspect(s) took an undisclosed amount of cash from a bedroom and fled.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary after a 78-year-old woman came home to discover the suspect in her home. The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 20th at 3:20 p.m., when the home owner arrived at her residence. When she entered the residence she was found an unknown black male in her residence. The victim confronted the suspect, who took the purse off of her shoulder, knocking the woman to the ground in the process. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. The victim had very minor injuries and was not treated.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred between 10:20 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017. During this time, the home was vacant and an unknown suspect entered the home through an unsecured rear window. Once inside, the suspect stole several electronics and fled the residence.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a theft from a vehicle and an Unlawful Use of a Payment Card. The incident occurred between 8:30 p.m. on September 15th and 12:30 p.m. on September 16th, when an unknown suspect entered the victims unsecured vehicle that was parked in the 100 Block of Holmes Street. The suspect stole a wallet containing cash and credit/debit cards. Further investigation revealed that the cards were being used at area businesses.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department and Delaware Probation and Parole arrested 44-year-old Rodney Morris on drug and weapons offenses following an investigation on Tuesday evening. Officers contacted Morris in the area of Fulton Street and New Street following a drug investigation. Morris then fled on a bicycle from officers. A short time later, Morris was apprehended and found to be in possession of 5.4 grams of crack cocaine, 9.3 grams of marijuana, and a loaded .40 caliber handgun. Morris was committed to JTVCC in default of $32,000 secured bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (3x)
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana

-Resisting Arrest

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested 32-year-old Jerome Miller on firearms charges after assisting Delaware Probation and Parole on an administrative warrant on Tuesday afternoon. Officers stopped Miller in the area of US Rt 13 and State Street for driving with a suspended license. After locating a small amount of marijuana inside the vehicle, Delaware Probation and Parole executed an administrative warrant on his residence, located in the 400 block of Kent Avenue. During the search, officers located a loaded .380 handgun. As a result Miller was committed to JTVCC in default of $30,750 cash bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Possession of Ammunition by Person Prohibited
-Possession of Marijuana
-Violation of Probation
-Driving While Suspended

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested a 37-year-old Dover man after he robbed a Dollar General store on Thursday afternoon. At approximately 2:18PM, Justus Ramos entered the Dollar General in the Hamlet Shopping Center and produced a knife to the clerk, demanding cash. Ramos then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a dark blue Hyundai SUV. Detectives investigating the case were able to obtain a tag number for the suspect’s vehicle and responded to the area of General’s Greene off of Route 10 in Dover in an attempt to locate the suspect and/or the vehicle. A check of the Ramos’ residence was unsuccessful. As detectives were leaving the area, they located the vehicle in the parking lot of McDonald’s just in front of General’s Greene. Officers were able to stop the vehicle and take Ramos into custody without incident. Officers also located heroin and the knife used in the robbery inside the vehicle. Ramos was committed to JTVCC in default of $41,000 secured bond on the following charges:
-Robbery 1st Degree
-Possession of Heroin
-Drug Paraphernalia

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at the Wesley Chapel early Thursday morning. At approximately 1:21 a.m., a 23 year-old female was in a room in the basement of the chapel when an unknown suspect forced in a piece of plywood that was covering a window to the room. The female fled into a nearby hallway to call police. In the meantime, the suspect stole a laptop computer and fled in an unknown direction.
