Man Arrested for Resisting, Outstanding Warrants After Fleeing Police 11-27-2017

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested a wanted 41-year-old man for resisting arrest and numerous traffic offenses after fleeing from officers on Sunday morning.  A Dover Police officer was conducting speed enforcement when he observed a silver BMW, operated by Desmond Walls, traveling 63 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone in the area of N. DuPont Highway at Maple Parkway (Southbound).  The officer attempted to stop the vehicle by activating their emergency equipment, but Walls refused and began driving erratically. The officer observed the vehicle pull onto River Road in Capital Green and exit on foot.  Officers were able to arrest Walls a short time later without incident.  Desmond Walls was also wanted by Delaware State Police Troop 2 and Milford Police Department for shoplifting charges.

Walls was released on unsecured bond on all charges including:
-Disregard Police Office Signal
-Resisting Arrest
-Driving While Suspended
-Traffic Offenses
