The Dover Police Department and Delaware State University Police Department will host a training exercise on the Delaware State University campus on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 from 4:00AM-8:00AM. The exercise will also involved other area agencies. People in the area may see an extra emergency personnel and vehicles as a result of the exercise. The exercise is not expected to affect daily campus operations or area traffic.
The Dover Police Department often conducts joint training exercises with local, state, and federal partners to test the preparedness of the agency, specialized units, communications, and to learn what resources other partners can provide in the event of a major event in the City of Dover or surrounding areas.
