Dover Police Safe Trick or Treat Cancelled

After much discussion and evaluating the weather forecast for the Dover Police Safe Trick or Treat event scheduled for October 26th, event organizers are forced to cancel the 2018 event.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause those who planned to attend, our vendors, and other agencies involved in the event.  

 

Robbery in Manchester Square Neighborhood 10-25-2018

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on Wednesday night in the Unit Block of Stevenson Drive, in the Manchester Square neighborhood.  At approximately 9:50PM, an 18-yr-old male victim was unloading a vehicle when he was approached by two black male suspects and demanded property.  The victim initially refused and a suspect displayed a handgun and demanded property.  The suspects then demanded a ride and entered the back of the victim’s vehicle.  The victim was told to travel east of White Oak Road near Acorn Lane.  The suspect’s then stole the victim’s phone, a back pack, and cash before fleeing.

The suspects were described as being black males, both wearing dark clothing, and one with a t-shirt wrapped around his face.
