Four Arrested During Drug Search Warrant in The Hamlet Neighborhood 3-5-2019

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department along with the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit, and Delaware Probation and Parole concluded a drug investigation by executing a search warrant at a home in the Unit Block of Village Drive on Monday.  At approximately 2:25PM, officers executed the warrant at the home in The Hamlet community. 

Zykee Bull (25) attempted to flee from the rear of the residence when officers arrived.  He threw a handgun, 30 bags of fentanyl, 60 bags of heroin, and approximately 17.1 grams of marijuana prior to being apprehended.  An additional 3.5 grams of marijuana was located inside his vehicle that was parked at the residence.  

Bull was committed to SCI in default of $83,100 cash bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl
-Resisting Arrest
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Possession of Marijuana

Jordan Powell (27) was located inside of the residence with a digital scale and approximately 27 grams of marijuana.  Powell was also wanted on an unrelated warrant for theft, forgery, and conspiracy.

Powell was committed to SCI on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Theft Under $1500 (Victim 62+)
-Forgery 2nd Degree
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree

Marquese Harris was located inside of the residence and was in possession of 77.5 grams of marijuana packaged for sale and 1.1 grams of methamphetamine.  

Harris was committed to SCI in default of $8,400 secured bond on the following charges:
-Maintaining a Drug Property
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of Methamphetamine

Marvin Farlow was also located inside of the residence with 4.5 grams of marijuana which he attempted to dispose of prior to apprehension. 

Farlow was released on a $1,200 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia

Burglary at Merle Norman Cosmetics 3-5-2019

Location:  Merle Norman Cosmetics, 1030 Forrest Avenue, Suite 113, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

The Dover police Department is investigating a commercial burglary that occurred on Monday night.  At approximately 11:10PM, officers responded to the Merle Norman Cosmetics, located at 1030 Forrest Avenue (Gateway West Shopping Center).  An unknown suspect had broken the glass on the front door and to the side of the door to make entry.  Once inside, the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and ransacked the back office and break room area before fleeing.  

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.
