Domestic Incident Leads to Arrest for Drugs and Firearms 3-6-2019

Narrative: 

 The Dover Police Department arrested Donald Brown (30) on several drug and weapons offenses following a domestic related incident.  Officers were investigating a complaint where Brown had threatened to harm a victim that he had a relationship with.  Officers responded to his residence in the 400 Block of Barrister Place and took Brown into custody without incident.  Following his arrest, officers obtained a search warrant for the home.  Inside of the residence, the following items were located:
– Loaded .380 caliber handgun
– Approximately 249.9 grams of marijuana
– 17 doses of Tramadol (schedule 4 controlled substance)
– Approximately 321 doses of Ecstasy (MDMA)
– Approximately 8 grams of THC Oil
– $1,549.00 suspected drug proceeds

Brown was released after posting $36,000 secured bond on the following charges:
– Terroristic Threatening (2x)
– Offensive Touching
– Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
– Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony
– Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited
– Possession of a Firearm by a Person who also Possesses Illegal Drugs
– Possession with Intent to Deliver Tier 4 Quantity of Ecstasy
– Possession of a Tier 5 Ecstasy
– Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
– Possession of a Tier 1 Marijuana
– Possession with Intent to Deliver THC Oil
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (Tramadol)
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Two Homes Struck by Gunfire 3-6-2019

Location:  Unit block of Primrose Drive, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

 Two homes were struck by gunfire on Primrose Drive on Wednesday morning.  At approximately 1:25AM, two neighboring homes were struck.  One home was unoccupied at the time of officer’s arrival.  The second home was struck by a bullet that went through a bedroom.  An adult female and her daughter were inside the residence but did not suffer any injuries.  

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.
