Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a Dover man. Ismael Cruz (71) was last seen when he was dropped off at his home on Oak Drive at approximately 2:40PM by a Modern Maturity Center Bus.  Cruz is a white, hispanic male that is 5’6″ tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds, and has a darker complexion.  Crus was last seen wearing an unknown color baseball hat, denim jacket, gray “Champion” sweatshirt, blue jeans, and blue/gray sneakers.  

Cruz suffers from dementia and there is concern for his safety.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a Dover man.  Frank Danner (73) was last seen at approximately 2:00PM on April 20th, 2019.  He failed to report for work in Sussex County on Monday, April 22nd, 2019.  Danner’s vehicle was left at the residence.  Danner is a white male, approximately 5’5″ tall and 130 pounds.  It is unknown what clothing he may have been wearing at the time he went missing.

Police Seeking Six Suspects in Strong-Arm Robbery 4-22-2019

Location:  Area of S. Queen Street and West Reed Street, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

Dover Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred on Sunday afternoon in the area of S. Queen Street and West Reed Street.  At approximately 1:45PM, a 31-year-old male victim was walking in that area when he was approached by a female.  The woman was described as being a black female with red pants and a white shirt with black stripes.  The female suspect asked the man for a small sum of money.  When the male victim pulled out his wallet, five black male suspects began to assault the victim and steal his wallet.  The suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Th victim refused medical treatment following the incident.

Residential Burglary Starboard Court 4-22-2019

Location:  Unit Block of Starboard Court, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred in the Unit Block of Starboard Court.  On Saturday, April 20th, 2019, between 8:30AM-7:30PM, an unknown suspect forced open the rear basement door to the home by damaging a door frame.  The suspect then entered the residence and stole several pieces of jewelry before fleeing in an unknown direction.
