Brothers Arrested in Pair of Robberies of Food Delivery Drivers 9-11-2019

The Dover Police Department has arrested two brothers in connection with a pair of robberies of food delivery drivers on August 29th.  The press releases from both incidents are shown below.  Melkin Ramos (20) was charged in both incidents and was arrested on September 10th, 2019 by the Dover Police Department.  Tommy Ramos (17) was charged in connection with the second incident and was arrested on September 6th by the Dover Police Department.  

Melkin Ramos was committed to SCI on a $45,000 secured bond on the following charges:
-Robbery 1st Degree (2x)
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Offensive Touching

Tommy Ramos received a $10,000 secured bond on the following charges:
-Robbery 1st Degree
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree

First Robbery Incident on August 29th

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery of a pizza delivery employee that occurred early on Thursday morning.  At approximately 12:39AM, a delivery employee attempted to deliver food at a residence in the Dover East Estates Mobile Home Park.  Upon arrival, a male suspect was waiting for him and asked if the employee had change for a $100.  The employee told him he did not, then the suspect punched the employee and fled with the food he was holding.  The suspect was described as a male in his late teens-early 20’s, Hispanic, and 5’8″-5’10” in height.

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery of a pizza delivery employee that occurred early on Thursday night.  At approximately 10:11PM, a delivery employee attempted to deliver food at a residence in the Dover East Estates Mobile Home Park.  Upon arrival, a male suspect was waiting for him.  While speaking with the suspect, a second suspect entered the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle and punched him.  The first suspect grabbed the victim around the head and threatened to stab him if he did not give him money.  The suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and food.  The first suspect was described as a male in his early 20’s, Hispanic, and 6’0″ in height, approximately 200 pounds.  The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his early 20’s.  

Juvenile Charged in August 10th Robbery at Dover East Estates 9-11-2019

UPDATE:

The Dover Police Department has made an arrest in the August 10th robbery of a 16-year-old in the Dover East Estates mobile home park.  Ka’Jhye Sturgis (14) was charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Conspiracy 2nd Degree after being identified as one of the suspects involved in the August 10th incident, further described below in the original press release.  Sturgis was committed to a juvenile detention facility in default of $21,000 secured bond.

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on Saturday evening.  At approximately 6:39PM, a 16-year-old male victim was walking in the Dover East Estates mobile home park when he was approached by two juvenile suspects.  The suspects demanded the victim’s headphones and he refused.  The juveniles then assaulted the victim, making him briefly lose consciousness.  The suspects then fled with the victims backpack and other belongings.  The victim was treated at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for his injuries.  The suspects were described as two black males, skinny build, approximately 15-16 years old.
