Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department arrested 48-year-old Charles Black, Jr. for a 5th offense DUI charge on Saturday morning.  At approximately 12:19AM, a Dover officer stopped Black in the area of Bay Road and Lafferty Lane for driving with a suspended license.  During the stop, the officer observed that Black was intoxicated and proceeded to conduct Field Sobriety Tests.  At the conclusion of the tests and investigation, Black was charged with the following offenses and released on a $5,601 unsecured bond:
-Fifth Offense DUI
-Driving While Suspended
-Additional Administrative Traffic Violations

Date/Time:  Between 6:10PM on March 6th, 2020 and 6:19AM on March 7th, 2020

Location:  Michael’s Hair Care, 1085 New Burton Road, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Michael’s Hair Care on New Burton Road.  Between 6:10PM on March 6th and 6:19AM on March 7th, an unknown suspect forced entry through the front door of the business.  Once inside, the suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash, hair clippers, wigs, and a television and fled in an unknown direction.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.
