Suspect Arrested in Burglary at Puffster Shop After Owner Gives Chase 3-23-2020

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department arrested Jeffrey Hayman (38) on Monday morning for a burglary at the Puffster shop on West Loockerman Street.  At approximately 1:22AM, officers received a call that Hayman had broken the front window to the business with a brick and had fled with items.  Officers were also advised that the owner was chasing the suspect on foot.  Arriving officers located Hayman and took him into custody, also recovering the stolen merchandise.  

Hayman was released on a $3,000 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Burglary 3rd Degree
-Theft Under $1,500
-Criminal Mischief over $1,500

Update: ARREST MADE in Burglary at Law Office on The Green

UPDATE:
The Dover Police Department arrested Rasoul Hanner in connection with the burglary at the Law Office of Ligouri and Morris.  Dover Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit processed several items from the burglary and were able to obtain fingerprints that came back to Hanner.  Hanner was contacted by police on March 22nd and taken into custody without incident.  Hanner was released on a $1,300 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Burglary 3rd Degree
-Possession of Burglar Tools
-Theft
-Criminal Mischief

Location:  Law Office of Liguori and Morris, 46 The Green, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at the Law Office of Liguori and Morris, located at 46 The Green.  Between 5:00PM on March 10th and 6:50AM on March 11th, an unknown suspect entered the business by forcing a side door open.  Once inside, the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of cash and loose change, a bottle of liquor, and other items.  The suspect also caused damage to a piece of office equipment.  

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.
