Two Shot at Barrister Place 6-6-2020

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured two persons on Friday night in the 400 Block of Barrister Place.  Officers responded to the area for a report of shots fired at approximately 8:15PM.  Upon arrival, it was learned that multiple vehicles and at least one home was struck by gunfire.  While officers were on scene, two victim arrived at the hospital at separate times by separate vehicles.  A 24-year-old male arrived with a gunshot wound to his right hand.  A 28-year-old male arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his neck and his leg.  Neither victim’s injuries are life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Burglary at Forrest Avenue Valero Station 6-6-2020

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at a Valero station on Friday night.  Officers responded to the store for an alarm call and discovered that an unknown black male had broken a glass window and entered the store.  Once inside, the suspect stole several packs of cigarettes before fleeing on foot.

Gold Alert Cancelled for Missing Teen 6-6-2020

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for Jeremy Callaway (16).  Callaway was last seen running from Kent General Hospital where he was awaiting treatment after making concerning statements that could affect his health and safety.  Callaway was last seen wearing blue scrubs.
