Summary: 

The Dover Police Department is issuing a gold alert for a missing 14-year-old male.  Jorden Hunter was transported to Dover Behavioral Health on Horsepond Road by his mother for treatment when he fled on foot at approximately 6:58 p.m. on January 1st, 2021.  Hunter has a history of health related issues that affect his safety if not properly monitored and treated.  

Hunter was last seen wearing a black Northface hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and red sneakers.  Hunter fled on foot and was last seen entering a heavily wooded area after fleeing from the parking lot of Dover Behavorial Health.

T-Mobile Robbery 1-1-2021

Narrative: 
The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at a T-Mobile store on Thursday afternoon,  At approximately 4:57 p.m., two black male suspects entered the business and removed electronic items from display.  While the suspects were removing the items, they told the store employee that they had a firearm and would shoot if anyone tried to stop them.  The suspects then fled with nearly $6,000 worth of electronic items.  

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.  Callers may remain anonymous.  Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.

Man Shot During Altercation on Spruance Road. 1-1-2021

Narrative: 
The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that injured a 28-year-old man on Thursday afternoon.  At approximately 5:17 p.m., the male who was shot called the police and said he was driving to the hospital.  Officers met the man near the Dover Post Office on Loockerman Street where he was transported by ambulance to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital with a single gunshot wound to the torso.  Investigators believe that the male who was shot was engaged in a physical altercation with an acquaintance inside of a home in the 100 Block of Spruance Road.  During that altercation, a handgun was displayed and it is believed that the men struggled with the weapon when a shot was fired.  The investigation is ongoing at this time. 

The male who was struck is in critical but stable condition.
