Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested two suspects on weapons charges during a traffic stop on Wednesday evening. At approximately 8:28 pm. officers stopped a vehicle in the area of S. DuPont Highway and Lotus Street operated by Shaquille Dixon (27). During the stop, officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and had the four occupants exit. During a search two handguns and 3.9 grams of marijuana were located.
Shaquille Dixon and Darnell Fullman (28) were taken into custody without incident. A 20-year-old female was also charged with Possession of Marijuana.
Both handguns were determined to have been reported stolen. One was reported stolen with the Dover Police Department and the other with Delaware State Police Troop 3.
Dixon was committed to SCI on a $50,000 Violation of Probation as well as a $50,000 cash bond on the following new charges:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (4x)
-Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Receiving a Stolen Firearm (2x)
-Traffic Offense
Fullman was committed to SCI on a $35,000 secured bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Receiving a Stolen Firearm

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two persons injured on Wednesday evening. At approximately 6:55 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of TGI Friday’s restaurant at 222. S. DuPont Highway for a report of two persons being shot. When officers arrived, they contacted a 20-year-old female with a single gunshot wound to her buttocks and a 22-year-old male with a single gunshot wound to the left arm.
The investigation revealed that the pair was traveling on S. Little Creek Road, in the area of Fox Road, when a vehicle passed them on the left and the front seat passenger fired several shots as they were moving. The suspect vehicle fled and the victims drove to the TGI Friday’s parking lot and notified police.
Both victims were transported by ambulance to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
While specific details of the case cannot be disclosed at this time, detectives believe that this was not a random act based on information obtained during the investigation into this incident.
