Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at a room at the Superlodge motel at 246 N. DuPont Highway.  At approximately 6:43 a.m. on August 1st, a black male suspect and white female suspect approached a 25-year-old female at her room with knives and demanded money.  The victim complied and gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspects then fled in a vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7111.  Callers may remain anonymous.  Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.

Man Shot in Manchester Square Community

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday morning. Officers responded to the Unit Block of Stevenson Drive in the Manchester Square community at approximately 3:38 a.m. and contacted a 26-year-old male with a single gunshot wound to the shoulder.  The victim told officers that he was standing outside when an unknown black male approached him, shot him once and fled.  The victim could not provide any additional information and there were no known witnesses at the scene.  The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.
