UPDATE: The Gold Alert or Angelo Lepore has been cancelled.  Lepore was located in the Baltimore, Maryland area and is going to be medically evaluated.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for Angelo Lepore (88) of Dover.  Lepore was last seen in the parking lot of Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus on August 29th, 2021 at approximately 4:10 p.m. after taking his spouse to the hospital for an injury.  Lepore was last seen operating a silver 2007 Pontiac Torrent with Delaware registration: PC6499.  Lepore was wearing a printed green short sleeve shirt, dark pants, black dress shoes, and a black baseball cap with an American flag logo.  Lepore is a white male, 5’6″, approximately 220 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.  Lepore suffers from dementia and diabetes and there is concern for his well being.

Dover Police Seeking Wanted Suspect from Pursuit

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is seeking a wanted suspect that fled from officers in a vehicle on Monday afternoon.  At approximately 3:39 p.m. on August 30th, officers observed Eduardo Griffith (25) operating a black Honda with Maryland temporary tags in the area of William Street and Pear Street.  At the time, Griffith was wanted by Delaware State Police Troop 5 and Sussex County Superior Court.  Officers attempted to stop Griffith but he fled from officers.  Officers pursued Griffith, eventually crossing into Maryland where he threw a firearm out of the window of the vehicle.  Officers discontinued the pursuit as it approached the Chestertown, MD area due to safety concerns and traffic congestion.  

The firearm that Griffith discarded from the vehicle was recovered.  Griffith is now wanted by the Dover Police Department for the following offenses:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Disregard Police Officer Signal (2nd Offense)
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Resisting Arrest
-Multiple Traffic Violations
