Suspect Arrested in August 25th Fiddler’s Green Shooting

 

UPDATE:

The U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force with the assistance of the Carolinas Regional Task Force arrested Gabrielle Clark (21) a approximately 10:00 a.m. on Thursday September 9th, 2021.  Clark was arrested at an apartment in Columbia, South Carolina without incident.  Clark is currently being held at Alvis S. Glen Detention Center pending extradition to Delaware.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a domestic related shooting that occurred on Wednesday morning on Fiddlers Green.  The Dover Police Department received calls from Gabrielle Clark (21, South Carolina) and a male subject (Clark’s father) at the residence regarding a domestic related matter.  During the call, multiple gunshots were heard.  Clark fled the scene prior to police arrival.  During the domestic related altercation, Clark shot multiple rounds, striking the male’s vehicle.  Clark fled in a silver Nissan Versa with Texas Registration: MKR9410.  Clark is a black female who was wearing a pink/orange shirt.  No further description is available.  Warrants are currently being obtained for three counts of Reckless Endangering 1st Degree and other related offenses.  

During the investigation, W. Reily Brown Elementary School was notified of the incident by police due to the close proximity to the school.  While there was no threat to the school, officers were on scene as a precaution.

CVS Burglary

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at the CVS store at 11 North DuPont Highway.  At approximately 1:23 a.m. an unknown male suspect entered the business through a rear door that was not properly secured.  While inside the suspect took a trash can and walked around the store before taking the bag from the trash can and fleeing with it.  It is unknown what items he may have put in the bag.

Two Arrested During Firearm Investigation on South Governors Avenue

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested two suspects on Thursday night during a firearms investigation.  Officers were assisting Delaware Probation and Parole when they approached a home in the 400 Block of S. Governors Avenue at 10:14 p.m.  Iesha Brown (25) and a 17-year-old juvenile were at the front of the residence and the juvenile quickly ran inside of the home.  Brown ran to the front door of the residence and prevented officers from pursuing the juvenile who was in possession of a firearm. Brown was pushing and swinging at officers and used her fingernails to dig into officers hands during the altercation.  Brown was taken into custody and officers contacted the 17-year-old juvenile.  The juvenile was taken into custody after being found in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun and .7 grams of crack cocaine.

Brown was released on an O.R. bond on the following offenses:
-Resisting Arrest with Force
-Disorderly Conduct
-Assault 2nd Degree
-Hindering Prosecution
-Criminal Mischief
-Violation of Probation

The 17-year-old juvenile suspect was committed to Stevenson Detention Center on the following offenses:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Possession of Crack Cocaine
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Resisting Arrest
