Narrative:
The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for Jacob Maddox (15). Maddox was last seen leaving his residence on Lester Court in Dover on October 28th at approximately 2:40 p.m. Maddox has a condition that may pose a threat to his health and safety if not properly monitored and treated. Maddox is a black male, 5’8″ , 195 pounds, with dreadlocks. Maddox was last seen wearing a blue winter puff coat, black jeans, and black sneakers.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested Brandon Thompson (29) on drug and firearm charges following an investigation on Wednesday evening. At approximately 8:48 p.m., officers observed Thompson in a parking lot of a restaurant in the 300 Block of N. DuPont Highway. Officers observed Thompson conceal an item underneath of his truck. A short time later, officers conducted a traffic stop on Thompson and observed a handgun in plain view inside of the truck. Thompson was taken into custody without incident. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a magnetic box underneath of the truck. The following items were located inside of the box:
-11 grams of MDMA
-5.5 grams of Methamphetamine
-2.1 grams of Marijuana
-6.2 grams of Cocaine
-5 bags of Heroin
Once Thompson was transported to the Dover Police holding facility, officers performed a search and located an additional 29 bags of heroin on Thompson’s person.
Thompson was committed to SCI on a $50,000 secured bond on the following charges: -Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony -Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited (Drug Possession) -Possession with Intent to Deliver MDMA -Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin -Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine -Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine -Possession of Methamphetamine -Possession of Cocaine -Possession of Marijuana

UPDATE:On Wednesday, October 27th, the U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force with assistance from the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested Dondre Atkins, who was wanted on several charged stemming from a burglary and arson that occurred on September 26th, 2021. Atkins was arrested without incident in Irvington, New Jersey. Atkins is being held in New Jersey pending his extradition to Delaware.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is searching for a suspect involved in an arson on Sunday, September 26th, 2021. At approximately 11:17 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 400 Block of New Castle Avenue for a fire that was intentionally set. Before officers arrived, the residents were able to extinguish the fire. Further investigation revealed that Dondre Atkins (32) opened an unsecured bedroom window and lit curtains on fire in the room where a juvenile was sleeping. Atkins then fled from the scene. No injuries resulted from the incident.
Atkins is currently wanted by the Dover Police Department on the following offenses: -Arson 1st Degree -Home Invasion (Burglary 1st Degree) -Reckless Endangering 1st Degree (5x) -Criminal Mischief

Powell was being treated at Bayhealth Kent Campus for a condition that poses a threat to his health and safety if not properly monitored and managed. While at the hospital, Powell ran our of the emergency room exit and fled southbound on South Governors Avenue. Powell is a 27-year0old black male, that is 5’9″, approximately 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Powell was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, jean shorts, and sneakers.

Dover police officers will be sporting a new look for the month of November. In partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.) Lodge 15 (Dover Police), the Dover Police Department is allowing officers to grow facial hair as a fundraiser for “No-Shave November.” Officers who wish to participate must contribute $30 ($1 per day) that will benefit theDelaware Prostate Cancer Coalition. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Dover Police Department has participated in “No-Shave November.” Officers have raised a combined $7,500 in the previous three years, all benefitting the Delaware Prostate Cancer Coalition.
Participating officers must adhere to the following grooming standards for the month of November: Beards, whether full or goatees, are authorized; however they must be worn with a mustache. Beards shall be kept clean, neatly trimmed, and present a conservative, professional appearance. Facial hair of any kind that presents any sort of faddish appearance is prohibited. No portion of the beard may be exceptionally longer than the rest, and beard hair length will not exceed 1/4 inch. The neck must remain clean-shaven.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of Planet Fitness on Friday night. At approximately 11:46 p.m., a 21-year-old male was walking in the parking lot of the business when approached by two male suspects wearing ski masks. One suspect was armed with a black handgun as they both demanded the victim’c belongings. The suspect took the victim’s wallet, car keys, jewelry, and a cell phone. When the victim ran inside the business to call police, the suspects stole the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle is a black 2019 Honda Accord with Maryland tags: 1DW9276.
The suspects were described as two black males. One suspect was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and the second was wearing all black.
