Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested Travis Ostan (19) on firearms and drug charges during a traffic stop on Sunday morning. At approximately 2:10 a.m., officers stopper Ostan for a motor vehicle violation in the area of White Oak Road and North DuPont Highway. During the stop, officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana and observed paraphernalia in plain view. During a search of the vehicle, a 9mm handgun was located under the driver seat. In addition to the firearm, officers also located a total of 7 Oxycodone pills and a digital scale.

Ostan was committed to SCI on a $27,653 cash bail on the following offenses:
-Possession of Deadly Weapon During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Possession of Oxycodone
-Possession of Marijuana
-Motor Vehicle Violations
