Arrest Made in November Burglary at Delaware Auto

UPDATE: The Dover Police Department has made an arrest in connection with the Delaware Auto burglary that occurred in November. Ahmad Taylor (21) was developed as a suspect during the investigation and detectives obtained an arrest warrant for him. On December 7th, 2021, Taylor was taken into custody at the Delaware State University by campus police. Taylor was released on an O.R. bond on the following offenses:
-Burglary 3rd Degree
-Theft of Services
-Criminal Mischief

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Delaware Auto on West Division Street.  The incident occurred sometime between 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5th, 2021 and 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 6th, 2021.  During this time period an unknown suspect forced entry into a garage through a boarded up window and removed a set of keys from the building.  The suspect then took a 2008 Ford Taurus with unknown New Jersey tags from the parking lot.  

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7111.  Callers may remain anonymous.  Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
