Harrington Man Arrested on Gun Charges After Fleeing from Police

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested Eugene Anderson (21) on firearms offenses on Thursday night. At approximately 9:30 p.m., a Dover police officer attempted to stop Anderson for a traffic violation in the area of River Road and New Castle Avenue. Anderson fled from the officers in the vehicle but the officers did not pursue. A short time later, a different officer observed the vehicle at a dead-end at Morris Drive and Orchard Avenue. Officers took Anderson into custody without incident and found him to be in possession of a handgun with an obliterated serial number.

Anderson was committed to SCI on a $46,600 secured bond on the following offenses:
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm with Obliterated Serial Number
-Illegal Gang Participation
-Disregard Police Officer Signal

Traffic Stop Leads to Gun and Drug Charges for Hartly Man

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested Aaron Carrillo (18) on firearm and drug offenses following a traffic stop on Thursday morning. Officers stopped Carrillo for a speeding violation at approximately 1:44 a.m. on Thursday morning in the area of Forrest Avenue and Dover High Drive. When the officers contacted Carrillo, they observed what appeared to be a handgun in the rear seat. Carrillo was detained without incident. During a search of the vehicle, officers located 9mm ammunition, a 9mm handgun, 27 grams of marijuana, and a fixed blade knife that was 9.5″ in length.

Carrillo was released after posting a $65,000 secured bond on the following offenses:
-Possession of Marijuana
-Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Possession of deadly Weapon During Commission of Felony (2x)
-Possession of Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Traffic Offenses

Two Arrested on Drug and Firearms Offenses on South New Street

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department and Delaware Probation and Parole arrested two men on drug and firearms offenses on Wednesday night in the 100 Block of North New Street. The men were contacted by officers after a curfew check was conducted on an unrelated subject in the area. Antwaun Campbell was seen with a red object in his hand, which turned out to be a red bandana containing 9.4 grams of crack cocaine. Tyrese Bailey, who was with Campbell, was in possession of two handguns, 1.3 grams of marijuana, and an additional 5.2 grams of crack cocaine.

Bailey was committed to SCI on a $34,450 secured bond on the following offenses:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine
-Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon (2x)
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony (2x)
-Possession of Firearm by Person Possessing Controlled Substance (2x)
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (4x)
-Possession of Crack Cocaine
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Loitering

Campbell was released on an O.R. bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine
-Possession of Crack Cocaine
-Breach of Release (banned from home on S. New Street from prior incident)
-Lotiering
