Dover Man Arrested for 4th Offense DUI Following Crash

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested Antoine Collier (42) for a 4th Offense DUI on Saturday night. Officers responded to the area of North DuPont Highway and Leipsic Road for a motor vehicle collision and contacted Collier, who was a driver of one of the involved vehicles. During the investigation, it was determined that Collier was under the influence and a blood sample was obtained at Bayhealth Kent Campus. Collier has been charged with DUI three previous times, making this his 4th offense.

Collier was released on a $3,250 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-4th Offense DUI
-Driving While Suspended/Revoked
-Failure to Stop at Red Light
-No Proof of Insurance

Residential Burglary on South Governors Avenue

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Sunday, January 9th, 2022 on the Unit Block of S. Governors Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m.-10:43 p.m. when the resident was not home. During that time, an unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s apartment and took miscellaneous belongings from the home.
