Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested Dowanna Hutcherson (33) for robbery following and incident at Kohl’s, located at 299 North DuPont Highway. At approximately 4:58 p.m. Hutcherson was attempting to flee business with several items she did not pay for when an employee attempted to stop her. Hutcherson then displayed a knife and fled in a black vehicle. Responding officers and detectives were able to identify the suspect and located the vehicle in the parking lot of the Dover Inn in the 400 Block of N. DuPont Highway. A short time later, Hutcherson was contacted and taken into custody without incident. Hutcherson was committed to Baylor Women’s Correctional Center on a $4,000 cash bond on the following offenses:
-Robbery 1st Degree
-Possession of Deadly Weapon During Commission of Felony
