Dover Man Arrested On Weapons Charges

Narrative: The Dover Police Department has arrested Quentin Parker, 40, of Dover, following a lewdness investigation late Monday night. The investigation began when an officer on patrol observed Parker urinating outside of a vehicle in the parking lot of Magic Seven at 10:58 p.m. The officer made contact with Parker, at which time Parker got back into his vehicle. The officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside of the vehicle and Parker was taken into custody without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded 9mm handgun concealed in the rear of the vehicle and 24.6 grams of marijuana. Parker was transported to Dover Police where he was processed and arraigned.

Parker was committed to SCI on $9,150 secured bond on the following charges:
-Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited(2x)
-Possession of a Firearm Under the Influence
-Lewdness
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drinking While Driving

Burglary At Sully’s Vapor and Glass

Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Sully’s Vapor and Glass between Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. and Monday, January 16th, at 8:03 a.m. The investigation began when Dover Police were called to the business Monday morning, for the report of a burglary. Officers responded and located damage to the front glass door. Officers also located the glass cases inside of the business had been damaged. The ensuing investigation revealed that after breaking into the business, the suspect(s) removed an undisclosed amount of merchandise from the store, and fled in an unknown direction.

There is no suspect description available at this time.

Magnolia Man Arrested For 6th Offense DUI

Narrative: The Dover Police Department has arrested Charles Scott, 63, of Magnolia, for 6th offense DUI, following an accident Saturday afternoon. The investigation began when Dover Police were called to the intersection of Mckee Road and Taylor Drive at 1:44 p.m. for the report of a single vehicle accident with the driver passed out behind the wheel. Officers responded and noted that the driver, Scott, was displaying signs of an overdose, so the officers began life saving efforts. Scott was transported to an area hospital for additional treatment. Further investigation revealed Scott had 5 previous driving under the influence convictions. Scott was released from the hospital and transported to Dover Police where he was processed and arraigned.

Scott was committed to SCI on a $5,000 secured bail on the following charges:
-DUI 6th Offense
-Driving While Suspended or Revoked
-Failure to Have Insurance Identification in Possession
-Operation of an Unregistered Motor Vehicle

Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at My Roma Pizza early Saturday morning. The investigation began when officers were called to the business for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, officers found that a window to the business had been broken, allowing the suspect(s) to enter the business. The ensuing investigation found that, once inside, the suspect(s) removed an undisclosed amount of money from the business and fled in an unknown direction. There is no suspect description available at this time.

Burglary On St. Bernadino Court

Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred Friday evening. The investigation began when officers were called for the report of a burglary at a residence on St. Bernadino Court. Officers responded and found that an unknown suspect(s)  entered a second story window of the residence and gained access to the master bedroom. Once inside, the suspect(s) removed an undisclosed amount of property and money. The suspect(s) fled in an unknown direction.
