Officers arrived and contacted an area resident who found the below pictured child, who states his name is Keegan, wondering around the area by himself. Keegan is safe and secure at the Dover Police Department as officers continue to work to find the child’s parents. Dover Police Investigate Residential Burglary on North Kirkwood Street 4-6-15

Location: 100 Block of North Kirkwood Street, Dover, Delaware
Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Friday night just after 8:00PM. An unknown black male suspect was seen fleeing the residence in the 100 block of North Kirkwood Street carrying a 43″ Samsung television from the victim’s residence and through a backyard in the same block. The suspect placed the television in the back of a white sedan which was occupied by two other unknown black males. The vehicle fled the are with witnesses unable to get a registration number. Weekly Shoplifter Arrests 3/26/15-4/2/15
The Dover Police Department responded to 20 shoplifting calls between Noon on March 26th and Noon on April 2nd. Of those 20 shoplifting complaints, six are still under investigation, three are unfounded, and six were unsolved, one store declined prosecution, and arrests were made/warrants obtained in 10 cases. A total of eleven adults were arrested or have warrants for their arrest during this period.

Dover Police Arrest Man With Gun and Crack Cocaine, 3rd Gun Arrest This Week

Location: 300 Block of West Division Street, Dover, Delaware
Narrative:
The Dover Police Department’s Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit along with the Safe Streets Unit arrested Ezekiel Benson (24) with a handgun. This is the third incident in a week where an illegally possessed handgun has been confiscated by the department. Benson was contacted by the special units during a drug investigation in the 300 block of West Division Street at 3:54PM on Wednesday. Benson was found to be in possession of a 9mm handgun, 29mm magazines, 24 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 4.3 grams of crack cocaine, and $580.00 in cash. Benson is being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $131, 200 cash bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Possession of Ammunition by Person Prohibited
-Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Possession With Intent To Deliver Crack Cocaine
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Resisting Arrest
-Possession of Firearm Obliterated Serial Number

Dover PD Investigates Five Burglaries at Treadway Towers Complex 3-31-15
Incident #: 50-15-7885 Date/Time: B/T Friday, March 27th and Monday, March 30th

Five businesses inside of Treadway Towers, 9 East Loockerman Street, Dover, Delaware
Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating five burglaries within the Treadway Towers complex located at 9 East Loockerman Street. Between 5:00PM on Friday, March 27th and 7:00AM on Monday, March 30th an unknown suspect(s) entered the Treadway Towers complex by unknown means. Once inside, the forced their way into several businesses by forcing open their main office doors. The following businesses were broken into:
-Christopher Asay Massage
-Delaware Grange Mutual Insurance Co.
-Tranquil Spirit Massage
-Ancient Way Massage
-The Delaware Boys and Girls Club
Once inside of the businesses, the suspect(s) removed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area.
