Dover Police Youth Academy Hosted by P.A.L.

The Dover Police Department and the Dover Police Athletic League (P.A.L.) are excited to announce their annual youth police academy. The youth academy will be held at the Dover Police Department and consist of two separate classes. 

This is a five-day program that will start from Monday, July 13th, 2026 to Friday, July 17th, 2026.   The hours each day will be from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. 

There will be a MANDATORY meeting for parent/guardian and youth camper on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 6:00pm to 08:00pm at Dover Police Department located at 400 South Queen Street, Dover, Delaware. This meeting will go over rules, expectations, camper bio/profile and guardian bio/profile.

 

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. The youth academy is open to both boys and girls ages 9-15. A minimum of 5 participants must register by the June 14th deadline. A maximum of 25 participants will be accepted.  Event registration can be found below.
