Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery of the 7-11 located in the Hamlet Shopping Center on Tuesday morning. At 12:55AM, two suspects entered the business, wearing all black, with black hooded sweatshirts drawn to conceal their faces. One suspect brandished a black handgun while another suspect stole numerous tobacco products. The armed suspect demanded the cashier open the register but she refused. The suspect jumped the counter and attempted to open the drawer himself, but failed. Both suspects fled the area on foot.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating an early afternoon shooting that occurred in the first block of S. New Street on Thursday. At approximately 12:19PM, officers responded to the area for a report of multiple shots fired. Downtown surveillance cameras showed a vehicle fleeing the scene of the shooting and parking in the area of Fulton and New Streets. Officers located that vehicle and contacted a subject who was in the vehicle. That vehicle’s front windshield was struck by a single bullet, however no injuries occurred.

Narrative:
Two men were wounded in a shooting that occurred in the Capitol Green neighborhood at 2:09PM today. Officers responded to the area for multiple reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers were advised that one victim had run into the Thomas Collins building with a gunshot wound to his hand. The victim advised that he was outside filming a rap video when an unknown suspect shot at him. This person refused medical treatment for his injury. Officials at Kent General Hospital then notified police that a second victim had been transported to the Emergency Room for a gunshot wound to his lower left leg. The second victim advised he ran to the parking lot of Dunkin’ Donuts at East Water Street and South DuPont Highway when an unknown person took him to the hospital. Both victims have been minimally cooperative with police to this point in the investigation. Both victims are 28-year-old males.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a commercial burglary at Winner Ford. The incident occurred sometime between Sunday, May 21st at 11:00PM and Monday, May 22nd at 7:00AM. An unknown suspect broke several car windows in the parking lot and rummaged through them. The suspect then broke into the body shop garage and stole two tablets and a television from the waiting area. The suspect then took a set of keys and stole a 2016 Hyundai Elantra with DE REG: 974987

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department wrapped up a two-month investigation with the arrest of four suspects and charges pending for two suspects on drug and weapons offenses. Many of the suspects are affiliated with a local gang. At approximately 10:55AM, officers executed search warrants on two separate properties in the first block of S. Kirkwood Street. During the raids, the following items were discovered:
-Five Firearms
-16 Grams of Crack Cocaine
-34 Ecstasy (MDMA) pills
-120 Milliliters of Codine
-12 Oxycodone Pills
-35.3 Grams of marijuana
-Marijuana plant being grown behind a residence
Agencies that assisted in the operation include the Dover Police Department Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit, Delaware Probation and Parole, ATF, and the DEA Dover Post of Duty. As a result of the search warrants, the following persons were charged or are wanted:

Narrative:
A 27-year-old man was shot in the leg on Tuesday morning in the area of Walker Road and Saulsbury Road. At approximately 12:30AM, the victim arrived at Kent General Hospital with a gunshot wound. The victim did not provide details other than being shot near the 7-11 at the Hamlet Shopping Center. The witness who transported the victim to the hospital advised that he just happened to be in the area when he saw the victim with a gunshot wound. The victim’s injuries are considered non-life threatening.

Narrative:
A home in the 300 Block of North Bradford Street was shot at several times on Saturday morning. At approximately 4:48AM, officers responded to the area for shots fired. The residence, occupied by seven people, was shot nine times. None of the occupants were injured in this incident. A witness advised police that they saw two black males running from the area at the time of the shooting and flee in a dark colored SUV, possibly a Cadillac Escalade.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at 6:18PM on Friday, May 19th in 1400 Block of S. Farmview Drive. A 23-year-old man was shot in the foot when a silver Chevy Impala stopped in front of his residence and began firing at him. As he fled, he was shot in the foot once and the residence was shot multiple times. The vehicle then circled around and fired once again at the victim. The victim returned fire, but it is unknown if anyone was struck as a result. The victim was transported to Kent General Hospital by a friend for treatment of his foot injury.
