Narrative:
21-year-old Jaquan Crump is wanted on charges of Assault 1st Degree and Possession of a Deadly Weapon During Commission of a Felony following the stabbing of a 24-year-old female victim on Saturday morning. The incident occurred at Irish Mike’s on Loockerman Street, following a verbal altercation between several people. During the altercation, Crump pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman four times. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital. Crump remains at large and is currently wanted by the Dover Police Department. Narrative:
A 65-year-old dance instructor is awaiting extradition from New York on an Unlawful Sexual Contact charge after having sexual contact with a 17-year-old male dance student. The incident was reported by the victim and his parents on June 26th, 2017 and occurred on June 23rd, 2017. According to the victim, Alexander Boitsov, of Hockessin, took him to a locker room during a session on the 23rd. While inside the locker room, the victim was told to undress, and Boitsov then engaged in sexual contact with the victim.
The Dover Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for a single count of Unlawful Sexual Contact (2nd Degree) for Boitsov and he was arrested on June 28th in New York City by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force at the Ellison School of Ballet without incident. Boitsov remains in custody in the State of New York while he awaits extradition to Delaware.
Boitsov is known to travel to various dance schools to provide lessons. At this time, detectives are unaware if there are additional victims. Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 33-year-old woman hospitalized with a gunshot wound to her leg. The incident occurred at approximately 12:25AM when officers responded to the Unit Block of S. Governors Avenue for shots fired. Responding officers located the victim with a single gunshot wound to her leg in front of a residence. The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where she is currently in stable condition. There is no suspect information available at this time.
