Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested a 25-year-old Dover man on weapons charges following an incident in the area of Vera Way and College Road. Officers were called to a report of subjects fighting in that area at approximately 11:34PM on Tuesday night. While responding, information was received that a black male wearing a dark shirt and tan pants exited a gray vehicle at the scene and fired a weapon and then fled. After interviewing several people at the scene, officers located the vehicle (gray Acura TL) in the area of Walker Road and North State Street and conducted a high-risk traffic stop. Eric Lloyd (25) was taken into custody without incident. Officers then located a shotgun in the front passenger seat with the same ammunition that was found on scene.
Lloyd was committed to JTVCC in default of $32,500 secured bond on the following offenses:
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Aggravated Menacing (4x)
-Reckless Endangering (5x)

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested two men on drug charges following a traffic stop on Monday afternoon. At approximately 12:21PM, Javon Young (24, Dover) and Major Foster (19, Houston) were stopped for a traffic violation in the area of North Governors Avenue and William Street. During the stop it was learned that Young had two capias’ for his arrest. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 52 bags of heroin in the vehicle. Foster was also found in possession of an additional 61 bags of heroin in his waistband.
Both suspects were arrested without incident.
Javon Young was released on $11,400 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Local Fugitive
-Traffic Offenses
Major Foster was released on $22, 250 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin (2x)
-Tampering with Evidence
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Wednesday in the 100 Block of Chatham Court. Sometime between 6:00 AM and 5:35 PM, an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the vacant home through a rear door. Once inside, they removed electronic items and a .20 gauge shotgun from the residence before fleeing. No suspect information is available at this time.

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that damaged an unoccupied vehicle on Wednesday night. At approximately 10:37PM, officers were called to the Unit Block of S. Governors Avenue for a report of multiple shots fired. When they arrived, officers located shell casings between two homes in the area and then observed that an unoccupied vehicle was struck by gunfire.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred early Sunday morning. At approximately 2:04AM, officers responded to the Unit Block of Mitscher Road for reports of multiple gun shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers located several shell casings, but no victims or witnesses. A short time later, it was learned that there was a victim that arrived at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital with a gun shot wound to the back. The victim was identified as 20-year-old Jameir Vann-Robinson of Smyrna, Delaware. Jameir Vann-Robinson was pronounced dead as a result of the injury he sustained a short time after his arrival at the hospital.
UPDATE:
The Dover Police Department has charged two men in the shooting death of Jamier Vann-Robinson that occurred on Sunday morning on Mitscher Road. Both Eugene Riley (18, Milford) and Ahmir Bailey (19, Lincoln) were taken into custody by Dover Police detectives without incident during a traffic stop on Monday, May 14th.
During the investigation, it was learned that the victim and a friend were exiting a home in the Unit Block of Mitscher Road following a house party. While walking back to their vehicle, the victim was involved in a verbal argument with the suspects. During that time the suspects fired several shots, one of which struck the victim in the back. It was learned that the suspects were in a silver Chevrolet Cobalt prior to the shooting, which both suspects were in when taken into custody on May 14th.
Detectives also learned that the suspects had been in Dick’s Sporting Goods on May 11th, looking at ammunition. After reviewing surveillance footage, it was determined that the suspects had shoplifted several boxes of handgun ammunition from the store. Once Bailey and Riley were taken into custody, detectives conducted a search warrant at a residence on Cubbage Pond Road in Lincoln, Delaware. During the search, detectives found a loaded .40 caliber handgun, a box of 9mm ammunition, and a loaded 9mm magazine. It was later discovered that the handgun was reported stolen in a burglary that occurred on May 10th, 2018 currently being investigated by the Delaware State Police.
Both Bailey and Riley were charged with the following offenses:
-Murder 1st Degree
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Reckless Endangering 1st Degree
-Conspiracy 1st Degree
-Possession of a Stolen Firearm
-Shoplifting Under $1500
-Conspiracy 3rd Degree
Both suspects were committed to JTVCC in default of $530,500 cash bond.
Update: The Dover Police Department has cancelled the Gold Alert for Crimson Vigil after she was safely located on May 14th, 2018.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a missing 32-year-old woman. Crimson Vigil was last seen in the area of Welch Drive between at approximately 1:30AM on Saturday, May 12th. Vigil has since made statements to persons known to her that are concerning in regards to her health and safety. If you have any information on Crimson Virgil’s whereabouts, please contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.
