Arrest Made in Robbery of Elderly Male 3-12-2019

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department made an arrest after a robbery of a 71-year-old man at a local restaurant. At approximately 3:30PM, an elderly male was ordering food at the front counter of Paliseno’s Pizza at 439 S. New Street. Henry Fordham (41) forcefully took the man’s wallet from him and fled the business. Responding officers began to search the area for Fordham and located him in the area of S. State Street and Loockerman Street. When officers attempted to contact Fordham, he fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later.
Fordham continued to disobey instructions at the Dover Police holding facility and was believed to possibly be under the influence of an unknown substance.
As a result, he was arraigned at a local hospital by a Justice of the Peace Court #7 judge and released on an O.R. bond on the following charges:
-2nd Degree Robbery
-Theft Under $1500.00
-Resisting Arrest
-Disorderly Conduct

Subject Arrested After Fighting Officers Responding to Disturbance 3-11-2019

Narrative:
28-year-old Richard Meyers was arrested on Saturday night after fighting with officers who contacted him in reference to a disorderly conduct complaint. At approximately 11:41PM officers responded to the 200 Building on Isabelle Isle for a report of a male screaming and yelling outside. When officers arrived, they observed Meyers as the subject who was causing the disturbance. When officers contacted Meyers refused to speak to officers about the incident, but continued to act disorderly.
When an officer attempted to take Meyers into custody, he resisted, causing himself and the officer to fall to the ground where Meyers continued to violently resist until officers could successfully handcuff him. A Dover officer did sustain injuries to his hands as a result but was not treated.
Meyers was released on an O.R. Bond on the following offenses:
-Disorderly Conduct
-Assault 2nd (Law Enforcement)
-Criminal Mischief
-Resisting Arrest with Force
-Public Intoxication

Domestic Incident Leads to Arrest for Drugs and Firearms 3-6-2019

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested Donald Brown (30) on several drug and weapons offenses following a domestic related incident. Officers were investigating a complaint where Brown had threatened to harm a victim that he had a relationship with. Officers responded to his residence in the 400 Block of Barrister Place and took Brown into custody without incident. Following his arrest, officers obtained a search warrant for the home. Inside of the residence, the following items were located:
– Loaded .380 caliber handgun
– Approximately 249.9 grams of marijuana
– 17 doses of Tramadol (schedule 4 controlled substance)
– Approximately 321 doses of Ecstasy (MDMA)
– Approximately 8 grams of THC Oil
– $1,549.00 suspected drug proceeds
Brown was released after posting $36,000 secured bond on the following charges:
– Terroristic Threatening (2x)
– Offensive Touching
– Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
– Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony
– Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited
– Possession of a Firearm by a Person who also Possesses Illegal Drugs
– Possession with Intent to Deliver Tier 4 Quantity of Ecstasy
– Possession of a Tier 5 Ecstasy
– Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
– Possession of a Tier 1 Marijuana
– Possession with Intent to Deliver THC Oil

Two Homes Struck by Gunfire 3-6-2019

Narrative:
Two homes were struck by gunfire on Primrose Drive on Wednesday morning. At approximately 1:25AM, two neighboring homes were struck. One home was unoccupied at the time of officer’s arrival. The second home was struck by a bullet that went through a bedroom. An adult female and her daughter were inside the residence but did not suffer any injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Four Arrested During Drug Search Warrant in The Hamlet Neighborhood 3-5-2019

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department along with the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit, and Delaware Probation and Parole concluded a drug investigation by executing a search warrant at a home in the Unit Block of Village Drive on Monday. At approximately 2:25PM, officers executed the warrant at the home in The Hamlet community.
Zykee Bull (25) attempted to flee from the rear of the residence when officers arrived. He threw a handgun, 30 bags of fentanyl, 60 bags of heroin, and approximately 17.1 grams of marijuana prior to being apprehended. An additional 3.5 grams of marijuana was located inside his vehicle that was parked at the residence.
Bull was committed to SCI in default of $83,100 cash bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl
-Resisting Arrest
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Possession of Marijuana
Jordan Powell (27) was located inside of the residence with a digital scale and approximately 27 grams of marijuana. Powell was also wanted on an unrelated warrant for theft, forgery, and conspiracy.
Powell was committed to SCI on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Theft Under $1500 (Victim 62+)
-Forgery 2nd Degree
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
Marquese Harris was located inside of the residence and was in possession of 77.5 grams of marijuana packaged for sale and 1.1 grams of methamphetamine.
Harris was committed to SCI in default of $8,400 secured bond on the following charges:
-Maintaining a Drug Property
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of Methamphetamine
Marvin Farlow was also located inside of the residence with 4.5 grams of marijuana which he attempted to dispose of prior to apprehension.
Farlow was released on a $1,200 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
