North Edgehill Avenue Search Warrant Leads to Drug Charges for Dover Man

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested Maurice Russell on drug offenses during a search warrant on Wednesday morning stemming from a drug investigation.  Russell was arrested at his residence in the 100 Block of North Edgehill Avenue without incident.  During the search, officers located the following items: -130 Bags of Heroin -13 Doses of MDMA -2.3 grams of Marijuana -Ammunition -$1,300 in Drug Proceeds Russell was issued a $5,701 cash bond on the following offenses: -Possession of Ammo by Person Prohibited -Possession of MDMA -Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin -Drug Paraphernalia -Possession of Marijuana

Two Arrested on Firearms Offenses

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested two men on firearms offenses on Tuesday afternoon following a firearms investigation.  During a firearms investigation, officers learned that Hassan Perry (19) and Santiago Johnson (19) were in unlawful possession of a firearm.  Perry was also wanted by the Dover Police Department on unrelated domestic charges.  Both men were observed walking in the area of Days Inn located at 272 N. DuPont Highway.  As officers approached, Santiago was seen hiding an object in a bush.  Officers contacted the men and located a loaded .40 caliber handgun in the bushes.  Both men were taken into custody without incident.  The firearm was later found to be stolen out of Norfolk, VA.

Hassan Perry was committed to SCI on a $8,500 cash bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Receiving a Stolen Firearm 

Santiago Johnson was committed to SCI on a $62,100 cash bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (3x)
-Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Receiving Stolen Firearm
-Tampering with Physical Evidence

Dover Man Arrested on Drug and Firearm Charges

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested Roderick Dixon (37) on firearms and drug offenses on Tuesday morning.  Dixon was contacted during a firearms and drug investigation in the 100 Block of South New Street by Dover Police and Delaware Probation and Parole officers without incident.  Dixon was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun, 27.7grams of crack cocaine, 43 bags of heroin, and 2.5 grams of marijuana.  

Dixon was committed to SCI on a $60,501 secured bond on the following offenses:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine
-Possession of Crack Cocaine
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of Marijuana
