Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested two men on firearms offenses on Tuesday afternoon following a firearms investigation.  During a firearms investigation, officers learned that Hassan Perry (19) and Santiago Johnson (19) were in unlawful possession of a firearm.  Perry was also wanted by the Dover Police Department on unrelated domestic charges.  Both men were observed walking in the area of Days Inn located at 272 N. DuPont Highway.  As officers approached, Santiago was seen hiding an object in a bush.  Officers contacted the men and located a loaded .40 caliber handgun in the bushes.  Both men were taken into custody without incident.  The firearm was later found to be stolen out of Norfolk, VA.

Hassan Perry was committed to SCI on a $8,500 cash bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Receiving a Stolen Firearm 

Santiago Johnson was committed to SCI on a $62,100 cash bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (3x)
-Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Receiving Stolen Firearm
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
