The Dover Police Department is seeking assistance in locating 12-year-old Sleenah Poole, of Dover, DE. Poole was last see leaving her residence in the unit block of Meadow Garden Lane at approximately 6:21 p.m. on Thursday. Poole is a black female, approximately 4’8″, 140 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Poole was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt, purple tye-dye pants and black shoes. Poole is believed to be a voluntary runaway and attempts to locate her have been unsuccessful.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested Isaac Ross, an 18-year-old Dover man, on weapons and drug charges Wednesday evening. At approximately 10:38 p.m., Officers from the Dover Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit were in the area of Boggs Drive and Buck Drive, assisting Delaware Probation and Parole with a curfew check at a residence. Officers noticed Ross exit a vehicle in the area of the residence they were checking, at which time he initiated a conversation with the officers. The vehicle Ross exited was still occupied at this point and Officers were unable to make contact with the probationer at the residence.
Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle Ross exited in an attempt to locate the subject of the curfew check. While speaking with them, officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside of the vehicle. A vehicle search was conducted and as a result, a tan and black Polymer 80 9mm handgun with an extended magazine, an additional magazine containing 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition, and approximately 5.5 grams of marijuana were located where Ross had been seated inside of the vehicle. Ross was taken into custody without incident.
An adult female of Dover, DE was also given a civil citation for possession of marijuana.
The remaining occupants were released without charges.
Ross was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court #7 and committed to SCI on $30,501 secured bail on the following charges: -Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited -Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited -Possession of Untraceable Firearm -Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon -Possession of marijuana (Personal Use Quantity)

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 24-year-old Wilmington man injured Saturday morning. Officers responded to Bayhealth Kent Campus at 9:31 a.m. for the report of a male with a gun shot wound to his leg. Officers contacted the victim, who advised that he was in the 100 block of South New Street Dover, DE when he was shot. The victim was uncooperative with Detectives and would not provide any additional information or suspect description.
Officers checked the area where this shooting occurred and located a spent shell casing.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred in a parking lot of Lake Club Apartments early Saturday morning. The victim contacted Dover Police and advised he arrived at the apartment complex in his vehicle and was supposed to be meeting someone. He advised that shortly after arriving at the complex he was approached by two black males. The first suspect was armed with a handgun and wearing a mask. The second suspect did not have a mask on and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt. The victim was ordered out of his vehicle by the suspects and he complied. The suspects entered the victims vehicle and attempted to leave, however they could not operate the manual transmission, so they ordered the victim to drive them around. The suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the victim and were dropped off at a local hotel. The location of this hotel is being withheld at this time to preserve the integrity of this investigation.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a carjacking that occurred in the parking lot of One Stop early Saturday morning. The victim contacted Dover Police and advised that he pulled into the parking lot of One Stop around 1:20 a.m. The victim advised that he was approached by a black female with pony tails, who asked for a “light” on her cigarette. While speaking to the female, the victim was approached by two black males, one of which was armed with handgun. The victim turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspects at which time they demanded he give them his vehicle. The victim exited the vehicle and complied with the request. The suspect with the handgun then entered the vehicle and fled, while the other suspect fled on foot northbound. The vehicle is a silver 2004 Chevrolet Suburban with Delaware tags: PC168878
The first suspect is described as a black male wearing a black face-mask and a black coat with silver stripes. The second suspect is described as a black male wearing a black face-mask, black sweatshirt, and black pants.

The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the parking lot of Burlington Coat Factory early Saturday morning. The victim contacted Dover Police and advised that at approximately 11:45 p.m. he pulled into the parking lot of Burlington after having engine trouble. The victim advised police that after several minutes of working on the vehicle, he was approached by two black males and that one presented a firearm and demanded money. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim and fled the scene on foot southbound. Through the investigation, it was determined that this incident occurred at approximately 12:09 a.m.
The first suspect is described as a black male wearing all black with a face covering. The second suspect is described as a light skinned black male with an afro, wearing a beige long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a mask.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department has arrested five individuals following a traffic stop and search warrant on Wednesday afternoon. At 3:42 p.m., officers observed Shabazz Barlow (28), of Marydel, DE, exit a residence in the unit block of South Queen Street and enter a vehicle. Officers knew that Barlow had an active Capias and as a result, members of the Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle he entered. Upon stopping the vehicle, officers contacted the occupants who were identified as Barlow, Tyrese Bailey (21), of Dover, DE, and Trevor Bolling (24), of Cheswold, DE. Officers detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside of the vehicle and a vehicle search was conducted. As a result of the vehicle search, Barlow was found in possession of 2 grams of marijuana, Bailey was found in possession of 13.1 grams of marijuana, and Bolling was found in possession of 142 grams of marijuana. All three were taken into custody without incident.
Following the traffic stop officers obtained a search warrant on the residence Barlow was seen exiting in the unit block of South Queen Street. When officers executed the search warrant they took several individuals into custody inside the residence, including a 14 year old male and a 12 year old male, both from Dover, DE. As a result of the search warrant officers located a loaded .38 caliber handgun.
Through the ensuing investigation, it was determined that the 14 year old male and 12 year old male both possessed the firearm and they are prohibited from possessing it as they are juveniles.
Barlow (28) was released on a summons for marijuana possession.
Bailey (21) was released on a summons for marijuana possession.
Bolling (24) was released on a summons for marijuana possession.
The 14 year old male was released on $2,500 unsecured bail on the following charges: -Possession of a firearm by a prohibited juvenile
The 12-year-old male was committed to Stevenson Juvenile Detention Facility on $30,000 secured bail on the following charges: -Possession of a firearm by a prohibited juvenile -Possession of ammunition by a prohibited juvenile

Dover police officers will be sporting a new look for the months of September and October. In partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.) Lodge 20 (Middletown Police), the Dover Police Department is allowing officers to grow facial hair as a fundraiser for M/Sgt. Mark MIller who has grade 3 astrocytoma, a very rare form of brain cancer. Officers who wish to participate must contribute $30 ($1 per day) that will directly benefit M/Sgt. Miller’s fight against cancer.
Participating officers must adhere to the following grooming standards for the month of November: Beards, whether full or goatees, are authorized; however they must be worn with a mustache. Beards shall be kept clean, neatly trimmed, and present a conservative, professional appearance. Facial hair of any kind that presents any sort of faddish appearance is prohibited. No portion of the beard may be exceptionally longer than the rest, and beard hair length will not exceed 1/4 inch. The neck must remain clean-shaven.
