Dover Woman Arrested Following Burglary

Narrative: The Dover Police Department has arrested Nydaya Bryant,25, of Dover, following a burglary early Tuesday morning. The investigation began at 5:28 a.m., when Officers were called to Burger King for the report of a burglary. Officers responded and found that a female suspect had forced her way into the business through the drive-thru window and once inside, removed money from the cash register. Officers obtained a suspect description at this time.

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Patrol Officers located Bryant in the 200 Block of North DuPont Highway and she was wearing the same clothes as the suspect from the earlier burglary. The ensuing investigation revealed that Bryant was in fact the person responsible for the burglary.

Bryant was transported to Dover Police Department where she was processed and arraigned.

Bryant was released on her own recognizance on the following charges:
-Burglary Third Degree
-Theft Less Than $1,500
