Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary at the Governor’s Café overnight on Monday. The investigation began at 9:45 a.m., when Dover Police received a call for a burglary at the business. Officers responded and located a window on the building had been shattered. The ensuing investigation revealed that sometime between Monday at 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., an unknown suspect broke into the business by breaking the window, and once inside, damaged several interior doors before leaving.
There are no leads at this time.
