Narrative: The Dover Police Department is looking for Jermaine Finney, 54, of Felton, for a robbery that occurred late Friday morning. The investigation began at 11:43 a.m., when Dover Police were called to Dover Mart for the report of a carjacking. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the victim, who had sustained injuries on his upper body related to this incident. The ensuing investigation revealed that the victim was working for a private security company and was responding to a reported shoplifting at a business in the shopping center. When the victim arrived, he confronted Finney, who was the suspect in this incident. Finney refused to comply and got into a physical altercation with the victim. Finney eventually got away from the victim and stole his 2015 Jeep Wrangler, Delaware registration PC537097.
Finney was positively identified as the suspect in this incident, and warrants are on file for his arrest. The vehicle and Finney have not been located at the time of this release.
